Week 1: First Post!

This is my first post on the website Blogger for the GSP475 class Emerging Technologies. I will continue my blog with another update on the course work for week one. For the course project I would like to perform a case study of the virtual game DayZ. I wish to blog about the influence the game has had on the gaming community and the real world implications of it as a survival simulator.
